Has anybody been able to trace Sarah Kirk 1813  on the 1841 Census?  I have drawn a blank.

Sorry no offence intended
Interested in MUSSON and KNOWLES surnames mainly in Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Lancashire. LAKIN and BURROWS surnames mainly in Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and Derbyshire. RILEY surname in Leicestershire. FLETCHER surname in Derbyshire. Very interested in the DUDLEY surname.

This is getting more and more confusing.  Your offer to check Loughborough records Diddy, is it meant for me or MussonKnowles?

It seems as if there were two Kirk families in Loughborough who attended either All Saints or Emmanuel.  I don`t know if these two churches are CofE.  Are they situated near each other in Loborough?  I don`t think there were ever any Roman Catholic connections with my family.

Sorry that was meant for Muston.

As I said earlier there were a lot of Kirks in Loughborough.

All Saints IS THE Parish church for Loughborough town. Emmanuell the next biggest church and parish in the town. I was christened there and confirmed there. C of E.
