I think the 1960 entry may be the right one.  In searching the Detroit Free Press archives, I can see a snippet of an obituary that looks like Rae, Thomas beloved......erine.  Presumably, it says beloved husband of Katherine, but I can't see the full article without paying.

Well done Shelly -  ;)  I hope the poster appreciates your efforts.

Using capital letters denotes "shouting" - please do not shout at me, I was trying to help you.

Perhaps if you explained the problem correctly in the first place, instead of claiming they did not have an e-mail address, we might have understood what you meant a little better.

Thank you Shelly.....really appreciate your efforts, looks like you've found the answer. 😃

Sandra.....thank you too for your help.
Using capital letters was not intended to appear as if I was shouting at you. I apologise if you had that impression. Your long series of explanation marks conveyed to me that you were either impatient with me or thought I was stupid!
I had already pursued the obvious routes. I was merely trying to convey the challenges still in my way. 😔

You're right is does say Catherine.

Adjusting the search criteria provided the missing part of the snippet.
