Hi,

William H.  & Kattie A. Brown were living in Apple Glenn, Benton County, Arkansas in 1930. William Henry died before 1940 as Kattie was listed as Widow in 1940 Census still living in Apple Glen, Arkansas with son. Shorty after the son, William Calvin, moves to California after his mother dies. I cannot find deaths of William H.  or Kattie A.  or where they are buried. There is a Kattie Jane Brown listed as buried in Kansas in 1934 but she is not mine.

How can I find out where they are buried or obituaries? Have tried several cemeteries but no information on either of them. Believe the son, William Calvin Brown's wife died in Apple Glen as well in about 1935 but can't find her either, She was Elsa (Elsie) Brown nee Stewart.

Looking for clues, ideas or suggestions as how to find them. Anything greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Glen

The Bentonville public library has a genealogy department with death records and newspapers, so maybe they would be able to do a look-up of the records or obituaries to get information about where they were buried.  http://www.bentonvillelibrary.org/adults/genealogy/

Hi Shellyesq,

I live 1200 miles from Bentonville, Arkansas so emailed them my question. If that doesn't work, I will order the Death certificates.

Thank you very much
Glen
