I have recently upgraded to Win 10 from Win 7, all has gone very well and I
must say that I am very please with it.
I just have the one small but really annoying problem with it, when I use I.E the
screen changes to a solid black in the centre of a page
but still shows the details/controls and the top and bottom of the page, also
the cursor arrow/hour glass pauses with a flicker.
I know there is Microsoft Edge browser to be used and also note that the problem is
not there when using Microsoft Edge, Just with I.E and it is so annoying every time you
 move around the screen.
Would any one else had this problem when upgrading to Win 10, and know
of a fix for it as I would like to use Internet Explorer all the time.
Many thanks.
Peter.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I don't think Internet Explorer works in Windows 10, in fact I think Edge was designed to replace I.E.in windows 10.

I use Firefox myself, as when windows 10 first came out Edge had a few problems with some sites, but I expect they are fixed now.

IE is still a part of Windows 10 although the new default browser is Edge - IE version 11 should be there alongside Edge and should work just as before.

Don't have IE here on W10 under Programs...

It's well hidden  ::)

Go to the search box (Cortana) and type  Internet Explorer

This should bring up the desktop "app" which you can pin to the start menu or pin to the taskbar (or both)

Updates from MS use IE... haven't set location for Cortana!!  :-))

Maybe you can Google I.E. and download the most recent version.
