We have Trusteer on our pc, but I think we downloaded it when the pop up asking if you wanted it came up, when I went into our online bank -  not as a direct download.

It's worth typing "Trusteer" into the search box (bottom left next to windows icon), incase it downloaded but didn't install.

I think Firefox updated a few days ago, maybe worth checking you have the up to date version.

I updated Windows 10 from Windows 7 a couple of weeks ago, and am gradually getting used to it.

But -  Why does this message come up whenever you want to run a video eg, from a news page, or have a livefeed for results :
"Adobe Flash plugin has crashed".

I use Mozilla Firefox, and have done an update for it, as well as an update for Adobe flash player.

Any suggestions please?

I've used Windows10 since it was released and like it, but I think it still has a few issues that need sorting out. The start panel suddenly refused to open about 3 weeks ago after an update, so I did a restore which brought it back for a few days, then it went again. Also Chrome wouldn't open. I searched online and found it was quite common, so tried several of the solutions, none of which worked. Other solutions looked too complicated, so I didn't dare try them. Then I found a forum where someone mentioned that they'd removed Dropbox and that fixed it, others backed him up. I tried that and it worked! Apparently there is conflict between some programmes, especially when they update, and Windows10.

Every time Windows 10 does an update it is a good idea to check your settings. Mine just restarted several 'background' apps I had previously turned off. I was in the middle of something yesterday when a message popped up saying something like "Look at the great new album we've created from your photos" . . . WHY? . . . I never asked them to 

Generally, I find Windows 10 works best with every possible 'feature' disabled, then using third party software I know and trust.

I use Firefox and have the same problem with Flash Player. Have given up and uninstalled it. I have done the uninstall and re installed several times

I hesitate to tempt fate, but Flash seems to be working fine for me at present in Firefox on Windows 10, upgraded from 7 last year. So it would seem to be something specific to a particular computer.

As every system is different it's hard to say where the problem is but it might be Flash clashing with some other software that wants to use the same area of memory. Do you have any other programs running? Hope someone can provide more helpful information.

You are quite right there.     But why did these things work in Windows 7 and not in Windows 10.

Windows 10 should be an upgrade not a downgrade.

I may be asking for some more help and advice in the future, but a question now is can I still use ccleaner and malewarebytes.
