Hi,

Thank you for your kind offer.

I am trying to find a death/burial record for Helena Ross (nee Burke).

She was also known as Ellen, Lena & Nellie and married to a William Ross.

We believe she died either in Dublin/Kildare between 1928 - 1955.

I have tried every avenue to find this information but no joy.

I live in Essex in the UK so I am finding it very hard to find any info, so any help will be very much appreciated.

thanks

michelle

Hello Dolly,

Are you having some problems there ??? Everything is OK. :D
I am reading this message too. This is not a Private Message it is on one of the General Boards and comes through to everyone who has posted on the board.

Best Wishes, Christopher

Hello Dolly,

I am sorry I may not have explained the situation clearly. I got an email message just now advising me that you had posted a message on the board. You are quite right. Messages are posted on the board. I omitted to check, I like getting the email telling me there is a reply on boards I am watching, but I think you have the the option of not receiving these messages.

All the Best,

Chris.

Hello Dolly,

I am sure, very soon you will be able to offer a lot of help to others on these boards - particularly the Irish boards as there is a large Irish community in Birmingham. You will be surprised how quickly you learn about the site. In a few weeks you should be posting messages like a good one. People will think you have had a lifetimes interest in genealogy.

Many Look-ups are easy. Your local library should have some street directories that you may use. They should also have computers so that you can post your messages before you head home. If you have access to a Central Library or your area Library Headquarters you will have access to many more genealogy reference books and probably old newspapers too.

Have fun searching for your ancestors and helping others with their queries.

All the Best, Chris
