:o Wow lots of responses to you offer. Can you handle another one?

I am researching Clancy's and the biggest Clancy so far lived in Dublin.
He is Peadar Clancy. He was a native of Carrowreagh East Cranny West Clare. dob 1888 died Nov 21 1920 in Dublin Castle
I read that he had a drapery business in the centre of Dublin. I was wondering if you could confirm that and the name also if it's mentioned. Also is there any mention of any family members of his would also be great.

I really appreciate this. I'll owe you one. I have a family Reunion coming up and I want to impress everyone with my ( well yours really lol) knowledge
                                thanks caclancy

Hi Catharine,
I would greatly appreciate any help with this family. I am looking for a marriage record and 2 birth records (Julia HANLEY & Robert Joseph OSWALD (son)

Marriage: Julia HANLEY (b 1875 Ireland) to Robert OSWALD (b Durham, Engalnd) abt 1894
Birth: Robert Joseph OSWALD abt 1895/6

Family information tells us that Julia HANLEY & family were from BRAY. They were Catholic.
Robert Joseph OSWALD died in WW1. He was a private in the Dublin Fusiliers.

By 1899 this family was living in Manchester with their OSWALD relatives.

Thank you,
Genie

Catherine,
I've just started researching my Spillane family in Ireland, and know very little before my grandfather Dominick's arrival in New York in 1910.  His brother Jeremiah (possibly Jerome) was already here I believe.  The Ellis Island record for Dominick's trip states that he left his mother (Kate Ford Spillane) on Stafford Street in Dublin.  No mention of their father, Jeremiah.  I thought maybe there was a census record from 1910 that might shed some light on the family.  Can you help?
Thanks in advance for any help!
I am sorry but my email address is not working.

I wonder if you could lease look up the Birth of a Margaret A Dickson, who according to the 1881 Census for Cheshire, was born in Dublin Ireland in c 1868.She is listed as the Grandaughter of a Charles and Margaret Judson, who were both born in Flintshire Wales.I have no knowledge of any children for Charles and Margaret,as I am unable to find them in the 1861 British Census. If you could shed any light on this I would be eternally grateful.

Dear Catherine,

Do you have time to locate further information on the family of John Geary (b. Aug. 5, 1756 - Dec. 30, 1798; Dublin)? His siblings include Charles Geary (b. Jan. 26, 1752; Dublin), Edward Geary (b. Apr. 1, 1753; Dublin), Sydny Geary (b. May 22, 1754; Dublin), William Geary (b. Apr. 11, 1758; Dublin), and Mary Geary (b. Oct. 11, 1759; Dublin).  His father is John Geary who was married to a Mary of unknown surname.

He was married to Jane Mussen Geary and his children include Richard (Apr. 21, 1782 - Oct. 24, 1838; Dublin), Eliza, Mary, Jane, Sarah, William, John, Arabella, and Henry.

I believe that his son John Geary emigrated to Westmoreland Co., PA, USA in 1820 (approx.) and married Catherine Coyle Geary (b. 1792, Ireland - Jan. 25, 1872). I descend from their family.

I would be especially interested in the birth dates of his children, especially John.  The John Geary that I descend from is born on or near 1789, Dublin and dies on or near Sept. 4, 1872, Latrobe, PA, USA.

Thank you for any help that you can provide.

Sincerely,
Brian C. Geary
