Hi Christopher,
Neither Sidney or Bryce are used for family names, the main one's are Charles, Robert, Frederick, Frances.  If you don't mind could you give me the definition of "struck out". Thanks for your time.
regards
Mary Ellen

Hei Mary Ellen,

Could you please put the phrase "struck out" into the sentence or paragraph in which it appeared. You only mention your family moving to Bray and Liverpool.
I would have expected such an expression to appear on a list of emigtrants or possibly in a will.

Best Wishes,

Christopher

Hi Christopher

Struck out appears on the properties ie. In Fee. (Griffiths Valuation) We have a Latter day Saints Form with one of the children being born Brays Common Dublin she was Alice Emily Smyth who married Alfred Garland (Mormon) and that is how we know they moved to Bray,  we know that they all move to Liverpool because they are all in the 1901 Census minus Marcus of course who was classed as a Bookkeeper on the his death not sure were my husband (Dave) got that information from.  I don't think that they had money or property to be left in a will as they all ended up in Carlton Hill Liverpool Toxteth.
Thanks for your time and interest as you have given me renewed interest and hope to carry on with our searching.
Regards
Mary Ellen.

Hi Catherine
I am seeking information on Peter Butler & Annie Hand.
Peter according to his death certificate was born in County Kildare c1839, his father was also Peter (a Land Steward) but his mother is not known.
He married Annie Hand about 1859 hopefully in Dublin as all his children were born there, Jane 1859, Mary 1861, Rose 1877, Catherine 1878 born Dublin (on Ships records).
Anne 1867, Peter 1869, Mathew 1871, Elizabeth 1873 all born No 3 South City Dublin (from IGI).
Some of the family emigrated to Australia in 1884 and some in 1886.
Mother Annie Butler (nee Hand) and daughter Anne were not on either of the Ships so are assuming they died in Dublin.
Any information at all no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
Regards
EddieW

Hello Christopher,

I am not sure what is happening, but this is the second message I get that there is something in my mail box. and it brings me to your message, to a Mary Ann.  Some how the lines or something must be cross or something. as I have no idea who you mean.  I have put an inquiry in a long time ago on to different families. but have never heard back .
So maybe you might want to find out what is happening, as I am unable to tel why they are coming to me.

Hello Dolly,

Could you provide a bit more information please? My great grandparents were born about the mid 1840s and grandparents 25 to 30 years later. If you are able to provide some precise dates it may be easier to find further details for you.

Best Wishes,

Christopher

hello christopher only info i have with dates is margarets marriage certdated 1919. she was aged 17 and both parents are deceased at this time. i would imagine that margaret was born about 1901/02. when i tried dublin register house they had no such birth cert. i also assume if she was orphaned by the age of 7 then one or both parents had died around about 1909. sorry cant be any more specific about dates. many thanks dolly
