For a marriage in 1751 there will only be church records, certificates came into being with civil registration in 1837 and that was when the name and occupation of the father started to be recorded.

Mary daughter of Francis married William Palfreyman in Peak Forest 1755 so I will probably go with the other Mary daughter of Henry born in Peak Forest as Mary born in Grindon would have been only 14 when she married and that seems a little young, although they did marry young in those days but Joshua was 37!

A girl could lie about her age, but I am quite sure that a child as young as 13 or 14 would have been noted by the vicar as a minor.
Have you found a death record with an age on it for her by any lucky chance?

Like you say not so much information this far back. None of my research has gone past mid 1800 at the moment. You have done well and sometimes in cases like this you have to take an educated guess. One thing for sure is that they had all the children christened and that is usually a good source of information GOOD LUCK
