I take it that "redacted entries" means they are currently still living

Hello. My mother, Hazel, born 1924 was adopted when she was about 4 years old and grew up around Deptford and the Old Kent Road. Her mother was Rose Shackleford who was born in 1898 and I believe lived in Bermondsey. Mum would only say that her Dad was called Wainwright. I've found information that Rose Shackleford from the same sort of area married a William Wainwright and went on to have five children. Mum would never talk about her upbringing other than that she was given away in a pub. Always looking for information on Rose Shackleford, who didn't name Hazels father on the birth certificate. Rose may have worked at a hotel in Battersea.
