Not really. This birth is only 17 years after the marriage. If they married in their early 20's, they would only be late 30s at the time of the birth.

The next entry up has a marriage of 1856.

Agree with Mike, many families have 20+  years between eldest and youngest child.

Thank you GR AND JJen.  I'm still searching using your information.  GR, I have found the birth record for the sibling Isabella.  It clearly is 1857, different month (October) and different district (Hamilton).  I'm pretty sure these are Robert's parents and this is his older sister.  I'm not sure why it would have those different details?  I've run out of credit to see the variations on the other siblings birth records to compare.
