Thank you Jonn.  Oh dear, I hope I haven't got two documents mismatched.  If anyone has a spare moment to verify, this is the 1901 census which i'm 100% sure is my Robert McGhee and then I traced the birth record (already attached to this thread so can't re-attach) to be the same Robert, which led me to this line of inquiry on this post.
