Hi i,m trying to get hold of any relative or someone knowing info on my great great grandfather thomas dawson, astley lancashire, 1860s, living with elizaberth edge ..my great gran alma was one there children, thomas was previoulsy wed to ellen furely . .... i have quite a bit of stories and info on thomas and the family, there farm at astley burnt down sparks from a steam engine set the thatched roof a blaze, he ended up knocking down the building. Farm was i believe called moss side farm by the level crossing. ...i have much more.
