But isn't that a copy of the original certificate issued when your mother's sister died? I'll ask my friend who lost a baby 3 years ago.

The certificate I have is dated 2013.
As I said - no space for name of the child.

I find that shocking in this day & age.

Surely the parents should have the right to name their child & have it listed.

I thinks us scots are lucky in that respect.

The one I have is 2014

ADDED...KG, Sorry, do you mean the event happened 1931 & that's the copy you have dated 2013?

I thought you meant a recent stillbirth in 2013 had no space for name

The copy I have is for the event (stillbirth) occuring 2014 with baby's name on it

I've just heard from my friend who had a still birth in 2012 in England and she said that there is now a space for the baby's full names. I'm glad that they now do that to recognise the birth.
