Re place names-
1. Murton a hamlet/farm just outside Berwick to the south west. My ancestor born there was baptised at Tweedmouth Parish Church.
2. Holborn a hamlet to south east of Lowick.
3. Lowick Forest, although not a name I hear nowadays
4. West Weetwood a farm to east of Wooler
Name beg with R must be Reaveley near Ingram

Thomas Glass had same name as my ancestor and born around same time so I have come across him regularly. He was born at North Earle Wooler, 11 Sept 1800, baptised at Wooler Tower Hill Pres Church on 7 Oct 1800. His parents were William Glass 1774-1841 and Jane Marshal 1778-1845 married at Eglingham. I have come across William in Ford Estate records as he was named frequently as a poacher! His widow could be the Jane Glass who is at Oak Hall near Crookham in the 1841 census.

Thomas moved around a lot with children born in different  places. He married Elizabeth Buck and she died  at Budle near Bamburgh where she is buried 1850.

Daughter Ann had 2 children before marrying William Hardy. I believe they were his children although I am not sure how I know this unless he is named on their birth registration which I saw when I visited Berwick Register Office in 1972. You were allowed to look through the indexes etc then!

Thomas died in 1877 at North Earle. If you have access to Ancestry website you can find. Several public trees on which he and his descendants appear.

I hope this is some help. I love just a few miles from these places and in fact passed West Weetwood just a couple of hours ago when driving from Wooler to Belford so if I can help. In any way just ask.
