As you can see... reset also gives one the option to keep files, it is not a Factory Restore.

Before a Reset, even if you do choose the option to Keep Your Files - make sure you copy and backup all your data...
You can't guarantee everything would be safe. USB flash drives that can hold a large quanty of data are quite cheap these days and are a good investment for everyone
