It fits in with all the chasing letters in his army records from c May 1919 seeking a date for his shipping back, concerned as his mother's sight was failing as well as for his future, as he was disabled to a degree following a gunshot wound to the arm .
his records also claim he arrived on the King Ludwig into Southampton on 28 Feb 1913 - which doesn't quite fit his being on the 1911 census. I guess it may have been his final return to Britain, with previous residences whilst a student
I also can't definitely find Martha and the children returning to Penang after the 1932 visit, which they - or at least Dulcie - must have done. I have however found a Mrs M Baker, aged 40 leaving for Colombo, Ceylon/Sri Lanka, final destination Straits settlement, in 1933, along with a Miss L Baker, 12 and two younger boys with the right first initials and approx the right age.
