just search for birth for each child and look for the same maiden name appearing

Robert Craig, son of William, m.(1882 Co.Down) Agnes Herron, daughter of Robert, according to one database
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Honestly, you people are incredible.  I don't know how you do it.  I wish I was half the researcher you guys are.  I'm still baffled at how quickly you figured it all out while I had spent ages doing everything I could think of.

Can I ask what the difference in date of birth is for my great-grandfather?

His death certificate lists it as February 8 1895, but looking at the GRONI entry for the Robert Craig born to Agnes Herron, it's listed as February 4 1895. 

Please tell me this is something that happens, and this isn't another Craig entirely..

Very, very common even in more recent times. A cousin of my father has one date on his birth certificate, another date of birth in baptismal register with a third one in the family Bible yet his mother always insisted that all dates were incorrect!
