BROOKER and De REUCK

My search is for my ggrandfather  Joseph BROOKER born abt 1852 in Wynberg in Cape to parents Michael and Mary BROOKER...British.... Info from his death notice in 1914. I'm wanting to know more about his parents and any siblings. Where did his parents Michael and Mary come from? Perhaps they died in Wynberg....are they buried there? Joseph and family thereafter were all Anglican. I wrote the Anglican Church eons ago and as yet have had no reply. I'm aware that the records are being transcribed to Familytree.co.za but as yet they're not available.
My GGrandmother Martha Jacoba De REUCK married Daniel (Petrus) Joseph Johannes Barnard or Bernardi 13 Nov 1871 in Knysna. (Dutch Reform Church)Never divorced. Cohabited with Joseph BROOKER. Joseph BROOKER died in Boksburg in 1914. I do not find a DN for Martha. ... When and where she died I don't know. I'm wanting any info on Martha but hopefully her parents and anything on them.

Children of William Thomas and Margaret:
Margaret – b. 1857 – d. 1st April 1933 - married 30th March 1880 – Peter Anthony De Reuck b. 1857 – blacksmith. Witnesses A. Johnson and Agnes Johnson.  2 unmarried sons – 3 married daughters – see newspaper article
I don't know if this Margaret belongs to you but she is buried in the Catholic Cemetery in George. All her brothers and sisters come from the George/Knysna area. The C.P. Nel museum in George has a whole box of info on the Howell/Holms/Johnson family. Hope this helps

All these are indexed  I searched on the fathers name with spouse Mary this is a good trick searching for baptisms as indexers have been told not to assume surnames for children from their father's name so very often children are indexed without a surname!
