Sharples in Longridge

Does anyone have access to the Preston Chronicle or similar? I'm searching for any related articles to a John Sharples who was involved with Chapel Hill quarry, Denham and Whittle quarries approx 1840 onwards.

I don't know if you have seen this newspaper offer but I think Preston papers are on the BNA

You should find Preston Chronicle Sep 15 1849 article regarding partnership monies in a contract at Denham Hill Quarry.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe
