Mac software?

Over the years I've used most genealogy software, to various degrees of success. Lately I've come across one, set up for Mac users and really very intuative to use, and reasonably priced. Contact, if needed with the help desk is very quick for a response time. Check it out as a demo. Oh the name: iFamily for Mac.

I've been a Reunion for Mac user for quite a few years now, and their most recent edition really leapt forwards - making the installation on my iPad synced in real time with the installation on my iMac.

I recently merged about 8 Reunion GEDCOMs together - switching away from separate trees, into one big mega tree - mostly because my paternal and maternal families lived in the same villages in the same county for hundreds of years - and when researching one, i always find the others. The merge was a bit daunting - and not without some minor hurdles to overcome regarding Sources and Notes, but nothing too tough.

Same here, I've been using Reunion in its various forms ever since I started researching. I've found that if they bring out a new version soon (months) after you've upgraded, they will let you upgrade for free. Even better, if you email leisterpro with an issue, you actually get a reply!
