Sarah Barras - Cause of death

Hello all.

Received the death certificate of Sarah Barras, my 5x Great Grandmother, this morning. I can't quite make out the cause of death.

I've Googled, and the only thing I can find is Climacteric Disease, but I'm not so sure about that...

Would anyone be able to take a look?

That definition certainly makes more sense. The only mentions I could find were about menopause - in both sexes, as is also mentioned on that webpage.

In very old people -- climacteric

“General decline of the vital powers, at the age of senesence, without any evident cause -Natural decay ” Other sources give the alternate term “senile decay.” To put it in the language of modern  died of “natural causes” or old age, the body organs started a chain reaction of decline of giving up their functions and the body was naturally shutting down.
In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth
