Backhall and Ingram Descendants
« on: Friday 15 July 05 18:12 BST (UK) »
Seek to establish contact with any descendants of William Blackhall, reportedly a tailor in the area of Aberdeenshire or Tarland. My brother had a brief visitation with him about 1944 while he was stationed in England, and he informed me that William is a cousin of my grandmother, Katherine Innes Ingram Ridlon Blankenship(1/23/1884-10/5/1969). She was the daughter of John Ingram and Helen Blackhall of Aberdeenshire.
Redland; Redlon; Ridlon; Ridlen; Blackhall; Ingram

Nothing new  Just an "in passing" I have Irish ancestors who spelled the name BLACKALL. Do you have this variant anywhere or any link to Co LIMERICK? Mawaltho
