The family seemed to use St Thomas's Ardwick for their marriages, did they use it for baptisms?
Checking the registers for St Thomas's Ardwick it seems the burial registers are missing from 1854 to 1924.. So it could be a good possibility that they were buried there. You haven't stated place of residence from the death certificate, so working on the 1891 St Clements Place, he seemed to be still living in Ardwick.
The church is surrounded by flat gravestones, it might be worth contacting the MLFHS to see if they have transcriptions of them?
