If you use the lefthand side bar you will see that births can be registered online,I am unsure that the branch offices give out information now as it is all sent to Wellington electronically.

As she was a widow England was not her maiden name

According to Archives he was a Retired Saddler of Palmerston North/Tauranga.  His probate is held at Auckland.

Looking at my marriage disc the only Winifred Alice Hills showing married a William Irwin Morris.

E-mail Christchurch City Libraries and request a death notice look up for Winifred Alice England.

Her date of death was 2.9.1979.
