My main handicap will be that I probably couldn't afford to buy all the certificates necessary to verify the information found.  How much are NZ BMD certificates?  In the UK they cost £9.25 each.

Looking at records on FindMyPast it appears Walter and Alice Lucy may have arrived in NZ in 1905,
Walter senior was 39
Mrs England was 32
Son Walter was 16 and there were 3 other children with them
Laura England was 3
Hilda England was 2 and
Arthur England was 1
All on ticket number 09097

It looks like Walter Frederick may have been born to a previous marriage of Walter senior as this looks like his marriage to Eva
