In 1871 Hannah is listed as Hannah C James, so could be Cooper as middle name. Might be mum's maiden name. This Hannah seems to be a bit young if the one we're looking for was born abt 1791
Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott

Looking for information and confirmation on Hannah Fearis. Born in Ardleigh around 1791? May have died in Tendring 1872? Not sure if these dates are correct, havent confirmed any of it  ??? Her Dad Phillip born about 1771 farmed in Ardleigh. Her mum was also Hannah. Am looking for any marriage records for young Hannah and possible children.

Thankyou :)

There's a Phillip Fearis marrying in Ardleigh in 1816 to Sarah Wilson. Could this be Philip son of Phillip, which would make him Hannah jnr's brother?

Essex wills index on FindMyPast has a Hannah Fearis being a benificiary in the will of T Cooper in 1796. She is listed as daughter.
So it looks as if Hannah snr was a Cooper before she married Phillip Fearis snr

Thanks everyone for all this information, muchly appreciated!
Can anyone find anything on Thomas Cooper. I think he may have owned 'Wick Farm' and this was inherited by his boys? Also his son Thomas Cooper died young, I have found a Will for him which was proved in 1833.
