Newspapers for 1929 Taibach
« on: Monday 23 November 15 23:42 GMT (UK) »
I have a copy of a letter which gives the date of the funeral at the CHAPEL of Ease Taibach May 17th 1929 The author says it was one of the largest funeral he had seen. This makes me wonder if it was reported in a newspaper. Please does anyone know which papers covered Taibach in 1929 and where I can access copies?
Many thanks
Trees

Hi Trees,
These links might help you on your way; the last is a viewable (I think) collection of archived Welsh newspapers. Best of luck.

Many thanks I'll give it a whirl :)
Sadly the last link doesn't go far enough but will be useful to check for  earlier generations of the family.

Give Port Talbot Library a call : 01639 763490
They have copies (microfilm and bound) copies of the Port Talbot Guardian which may cover this date.
