Hi.

Just came across your message.  I am a descendant of Samuel Sissey and Elizabeth Stoote from Wisbech. This branch of the family later moved to Barking in Essex.  Samuel's parents were Samuel (1735) and Sarah?  I think there was also a son William.  I have not investigated the other members of the Sissey Family in Wisbech but it is quite probable that they stayed in Wisbech.  Hopefully this will  give you some new clues.

Very interesting re Sissey

Sissey is on my mother's side AND Slote on my father's
The Slotes were recorded as Sloat Slote and now Sloote!
I'll check it all out.
