Dublin Burial
« on: Friday 20 November 15 18:41 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if anyone can help me. I am trying to find the burial place of Jane Knowles O'Hara who died on 11th December 1921 in Dublin. Any advice or help would be most appreciated. I have looked on all the online sites that I can find but nothing on them. Could anyone tell me also where I could contact for a death certificate.

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Jane is buried in Glasnevin cemetery - you can view details for a few small fee on their website http://www.glasnevintrust.ie/genealogy/

You can order research death certs from the GRO, see the IrishGenealogy website http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/civil-records/help/i-want-to-get-a-copy-of-a-certificate-what-do-i-do

May be of interest John Smellie built Fairfield Avenue for his Dublin Dockyard Company ship workers.

the second archway here has the numbers 5,6,7 and 8 suggesting 4 doors in archway to upstairs downstairs.
