I have contacted the TBPL asking which Parish Nora Street was/is in. While John Henry appeared unmarried, living at home on 1940 Voters List, I'm presuming a marriage later.
Off subject but I must say your ' in the doghouse' gave my wife and I a chuckle. I trust that's just your whimsy.

JDC the library came up trumps with articles from the Fort William Times. These were obits from both Middleton seniors passing, 1962 and 1963. Those articles the gave name of another son, Albert who moved to Toronto whereas James remained in Fort William. I think I now have enough to follow up.
So that was a good lead. Consequently I'll not ask you to break your routine and take pics for me. They seemed to live in several places. Thank you for the offer though JDC.

Glad you are finding the info you were looking for. Btw, the dog house belonged to Queenie, my grandparents' english spaniel. I was visiting her :-) Picture brings back lots of good memories for me.
