Lookup request - Harborne Church burials/ MIs
« on: Thursday 05 November 15 15:24 GMT (UK) »
Is there anyone who can help with a lookup for the burial and/or monumental inscription for Edward and Catherine Harris who were buried in Harborne Churchyard. Catherine died 1877 and her husband Edward died in 1882.

I understand the records are in Birmingham Central Library?

If anyone knows of any online versions then please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Both are buried at Warstone Lane cemetery Birmingham.

You can obtain information for a fee as below.

I’m not sure if you are aware Harborne parish was transferred from Staffordshire to Warwickshire in 1891.

Colin

Thanks very much for the quick response - I will follow up with BMSGH.

I was aware of the switch of counties in 1891 - given the proximity to Birmingham, I'm surprised it wasn't done sooner!

Thanks again
Steve
