« on: Thursday 05 November 15 12:49 GMT (UK) »
A big ask! Can anyone help me to trace a group photo of my Great Uncle and his comrades which I remember seeing as a child and this is now sadly lost to my family due to extenuating circumstances. My Great Uncle died a month after his 19th birthday in France, i have his soldiers will and his details via the C.W.G.C. his name is also on the Cenotaph in Wellington Square in Ayr and the family lived at #8 Craigmiller Building in Ayr at this time.  Needless to say, we would be very greatful for any help or advice with this search. Please find all details below.

From his soldiers will:

Pte. Robert Kiltie 56488
B Coy 51st Bt. (G) T.R. H.L.I.
Witness: Pte. Hugh W Galt 51st. Bt. (G) Coy. H.L.I. Cromer
