The 1911 census for Mauritius and South Africa shows
Ellen O'Connell aged 26 b. Newry, Co. Down
William Robert Edward aged 4 b. Dublin
George James aged 3 b. Cork
Ellen Mary aged 1 b. Cork

which ties in with your original information on the family
Knowing William and Ellen's fathers names and occupations would best help prove their parents and birth records.

There is an online tree at ancestry that is very detailed for this family
It shows William's headstone in St. Finbarr's in Cork and that he died Jan 08 1943
Ellen died Nov 22 1970; son Denis Aug 01 1963 and George on feb 11 1985
There is a wedding photograph of the couple and further family members detailed
including Albert and that he died Mar 29 1973 - it is well documented with source material
