Ann Whitchurch 1851 census 13 Scroub Wood
« on: Saturday 31 October 15 09:18 GMT (UK) »
I am stuck  ;D

I purchased a copy of the 1851 census for Ann Whitchurch at 13 Scroub Wood Wendover Buckinghamshire but unfortunately the displayed sheet HO 107.1720 only shows the last occupant for the address ie Ann Whitchurch.aged 4 scholar born Ellesborough Bucks.

Tantalisingly the initial lookup information states that Ann is the 'Wifes Daughter '  but that is not visible on the actual census sheet.

I was hoping that I might see some of the rest of her family or house occupants to help with confirmation I am looking at the right Ann Whitchurch.

Is it possible that someone could look up the address 13 scroub Wood on the 1851 census for me and give me the other occupants and any other useful information please. :)

Hi
George Parkins?  head  mar  61 Victualar     Bucks. Wendover
Ann         "          wife   mar  41                    "        .....borough
Thomas Whitchurch  son of wife    10               "            "
William (no surname) son of do.     7               "            "
Ann Whitchurch             Daug.       4               "            "
Can t read pob but you mention Ellisborough, Georges surname is hard to read but there is a marriage for an Ann Whitchurch and George Parkins on freebmd and looking at the image that is a distinct possibility.

ahh brilliant!   thank you cathy. Thats given me an important link and confirmation .
Now this line is coming together nicely. Looks like Ann had Thomas and William then her Husband died and she  then remarried ?

I have a Thomas Whitchurch in 1841 that ties up exactly !

Crikey Trish you have been really busy haven't you ! ;D That is a huge amount of information for me thank you

I had the Thomas Whitchurch 1841 but couldn't find anything of Thomas and Ann in 1851 anywhere, so you and Cathy have made that link positive which ties together a lot of seperate Whitchurch families I have found .

Now I need to go through all the Whitchurch and Parkins records you have dug up for me and see how it fits to my Whitchurch tree. I'm going to be busy writing all this up tonight..
Thank you Trish I'm very grateful for all the work that you have put into this for me.
