Farm owned by who (Harveys? Pattinsons? Burnses?), other relatives of who?

The Valuation Revision books (www.proni.gov.uk) will allow you to trace a property from the printed Griffith's Valuation (mid 1800s) until c1930 but the listings are by townland.

Do you have James Harvey's marriage certificate? have you found him in 1901 and 1911 census?

You need to post all the details you have so far and tell us exactly what sort of information you are looking for.

Hi to all who replied.  The family story is that a will was read in 1941 leaving a farm to be sold and divided between the family but not until after "Uncle Georges Day" .We think it was Eliza Nee Burns as she did have a son called George. He lived until he was in his nineties! hence the inheritance came about in the 70s. By that time there were loads in the family! and I think they all got about 500 pounds each. I would still like to find out about the farm"s whereabouts.

Start with the story you have been handed down. Is there no location mentioned in Eliza's Will?

This is dated 1942- Pattison Eliza of Hillsborough Old Road Lisburn county Down widow died 9 March 1942 Probate Belfast 18 August to David Pattison artizan and Samuel Pattison artizan and George Pattison dairyman. Effects £1402 5s. 2d.

Other Pattison details posted earlier.

Hi yes I do have a copy of James and Maggie Pattinsons marriage cert. 16.4.1900,how do i get a copy of her Mothers(Eliza Pattinson) will? As she left considerably more than her husband £1400 compared with £5! I suspect that could be the valuation of the farm.Is there any way of finding out the address where she died or of her various sons
