Looking for the ancestors of Emma Saunders who was born in England in 1849.  She married Thomas Taylor (b.1842) and they had William Albert Taylor (b. 1885 in Ontario, Canada).  Any information is appreciated.

Hello Jay

Do you have anything further for Emma? How do you know she was born in 1849 and any clue as to where she may have come from ? Did she marry in England or Canada ?

If you can let us have all that you know about Emma and Thomas it will hopefully help to find her

Hi Jay

There is a public tree on Ancestry for Emma complete with pictures of Emma and her son.  The information they have is that Emma's parents were Richard Sanders b 1810 Devon and Matilda Bradford b 1811 in Devon.  Emma born  13 July 1849 in Stoke Cannon, Devon, England.

Regards
Vivien

they seemed to have only one son, who married an Alice. In 1911 , there is two grandchildren listed, albert T born in 1906 and Eleanor born in 1910,   living with Emma who is the head, assuming Thomas died.   It appears their son William goes by the name of Albert, he's listed that way on the birth of Albert and Eleanor, the mothers name is Alice Clark, Eleanor  was born on the 7th of April 1910, Albert Jr. was born on 14 sept. 1906.  if you check out family search you can find the births of the children there.

This is all fantastic!  I was just trying to come up with more information for you and you've beat me to it! Eleanor was my father's mother.  Thank you so much for this information. Off to do some searching....

All the best,

William Albert Taylor was the informant on the death cert of Emma. Parents John Saunders and Mary Evans - England.

What an awful death for Thomas Taylor - Lockjaw - Hits his thumb with a hammer and the fatal disease ensues - passed away suddenly.  :'(
