Belfast - Abernethy's Photo studio - dating only

Hi,
first time here, so hope I post things correctly, and the upload works!
I took a photo of a photo - as the photo is at my second cousin's but we believe it is of my relative not hers (she collected some old photos when my grandparents passed away). No scanner available.

My grandfather was born in Ballylesson, or nearby, which is on the outskirts of modern Belfast in County Down. His family emigrated to NZ when he was only a few months old.

I believe the photo attached would be of his father (DOB 25 April 1874) taken in Belfast, Ireland, before emigration. I understand Abernethy's obtained a Royal Warrant in 1900, which would date the photo after that? Sorry, the image I took of the back of the photo frame is not the full card, and is a bit blurry.

Emigration date (not exact) is around the end of 1908.
I am hoping that someone could give me an indication if our estimate of date (between 1900 and 1908) is correct.

Hello & welcome.
This cardstock was in use during that period but was still in use up to about 1920.
His general dress style was also fashionable during that period so it's difficult to narrow it down.
However I would suggest this is pre WW1 & probably 1905-10.
The shirt collar style, braiding on his jacket & waistcoat & the absence of a trouser crease would suggest this date.
