Trying to find more information on an ancestor who served. Some detail has been found to the fact that he was Engineer Sub-Lieutenant (Temp). It mentions A.M.C. "Orcoma" - not sure what the letters stand for. He seemed to be only limited in his role but the record only gives that his commission was cancelled possibly by him.
Thanks.

Hi there and thank you for that information. The logs made interesting reading and went through to see if there was any mention of my ancestor. His name was
Henry Charles Donovan
.
The information is attached with the Reference: ADM 240/40/728.
Thanks

A further addendum to previous message was that he received Star, Victory medal and British War Medal. (source UK Naval Medal and Award Rolls). One would presume he had completed his tour of duty to obtain these.
Thanks
