I wouldn't say my version is well polished, but I believe the first rule of transcription is Turn Off the Autocorrect  ;)

LOL it is more the fact that i struggle to spell things correctly in the first place.. Spelling things purposefully incorrectly (at least as far as modern English is concerned) is a VERY hard leap for my poor brain. :P

I do my best and hope it helps, just as i know we all do when replying to posts.
Brunton, Binnington, in Cullercoats
Paterson, Anderson in Fifeshire
Vacher, Vatchers, Vatyers, (other various spellings) , in Dorsetshire
Marchams, in Oxfordshire / Berkshire (depending on date)
