Hello,
Please can anyone give me any information on the above lady?
I have her and 2 Daughters in 1871.
She was a Grocer age 55.
I am trying to follow her family back for a friend.

Sarah Pears hh- widow age 62 Occ Baker born Yarwell, Northants.
Robert Johnson -son in law-age 32 Occ. Wheelwright born Torrington, Norfolk
Hannah Johnson -daughter age 32 born Spalding
William grandson age 9
Mary granddaughter age 7
Sarah granddaughter age 6
Thomas grandson age 3
Susannah granddaughter age 6 months
children all born Spalding

So that possibly  gives you Hannah's maiden surname + 2 more counties to extend your search.

Hannah Pears baptised on 22/12/1814 at St Mary and St Nicholas Church, Spalding.
Parents Thomas (labourer) and Sarah.

Hannah Pears married Robert Johnson at the same church on 29/10/1840. Robert listed as a carpenter.
Roberts father was Thomas (wheelwright).
Witnesses were Benjamin Perkins and Susanna Johnson.

Possible marriage for her parents.

Thomas Pears (bachelor) married Sarah Lock (spinster) on 21/08/1808 at St Mary and St Nicholas Church, Spalding.
Witnesses were Mary Bell and Thomas Bellamy.
