From Wolverhampton to Massachusetts?
« on: Saturday 03 October 15 11:29 BST (UK) »
I have a Patrick McTigue born in Wolverhampton in 1883, his parents were Mark McTigue (born Ireland) and Sarah McNally.  I can find nothing on Patrick except that he might have emigrated to Massachusetts.  I am just wondering if anybody would be able to confirm this (or indeed deny it!). Any help really appreciated as I am at a bit of a loss - thanks

Hi,
Did the family move from there to Ellesmere Port in Cheshire.
A lot of the industry in Wolverhampton opened up new premises  in E.Port, now they are all gone.

Thanns Sandra - last sighting is 1901 on the Census in Wolverhampton with his family  Yes Maggsie, most of his family did move to Ellesmere Port but I can't see that Patrick went with them.

Oooo Maggsie, you found him - thank you so much!  I now live on the Wirral - I am actually descended from Winifred as shown on the 1901 census.  Thank you again
