Hi checking online trees one has Bert/Bertie Charles Thresher as born 25th January 1890 baptism 6th April 1890 in Long Ashton Somerset, Father Charles Mother Ann, they are in 1891 Long Ashton RG12/1953/32/8.

Unfortunately they have chosen the incorrect Bert/Bertie, as this one born 25th January 1890 dies Sept 1974 Surrey South Western v17 page 1103

Their is a border crossing of a Bert Thresher aged 24 b England, 31st March 1914 Emerson, Manitoba from Illinois

1910 Illinois Census

Bert Thresher 23 b England abode Flora, Boone, Illinois, Immigration Year 1906
Minnie Peal 18 b Illinois with parents Levy & Ricka abode Spring, Boone, Illinois, living alongside them is a John Diamond b England aged 22 occ Hired man Immigration year 1905 ( Charles Diamond's brother)?

Two trees have him marrying a Minnie Marie Peal 1892-1976 1 daughter born to couple 1927-2011, but neither show just when/where this marriage took place?

Minnie Thresher and her 5 month old daughter, both born Kingston Illinois, crossed the border into Saskatchewan on 31 March 1928.

She named her husband as Bert Thresher of Stalwart, Saskatchewan, and her father as Levi Peal of Kingston Illinois.
