1.   The 1878 marriage found by Groom giving the parents names - where (site) was this information extracted from?

2.   Naming the father of George  as John Gregory has added a new generation.   George Gregory b.1854, father John Gregory -  grateful for census records covering 1861 - 1891

I think the "London, England Marriages" is on Ancestry.     Can't find it on FindMyPast.

Just to confirm -- I did find the marriage amongst the London Parish Records -- Marriages  --on the Ancestry site.

Thanks for pointing me to Ancestry but I don't have a subscription.   I will try the local library who offer free access.

Violet had a sister, Emily Daisy and the 1891 census says she was born c.1886 in Uxbridge Middlessex.   I would like to find more about Emily but can't find her in the 1901 and 1911 census.
Family notes suggest she was in service.   Some of the Gregory census has included incorrect spellings and I wonder if this why Emily has not been found.

Can anyone help me please?

Re Emily - 1911 lookups aren't allowed on here, but I suggest you have a look for this one:
