Hi , I know this post was from a while ago, I saw this post quite by accident this morning. I live around 5 km from her grave site. She is located on the Eastern side of the Namoi River, over the Goangra bridge. She is on a very tranquil spot not far from the road, even though she is resting in a flood plain, her site was well built up and does not flood her site. I am at her site now, to be sure, if you want photos I have just taken some. It truly is Isabella Dodd's resting place. Her tomb stone faces the river and is also one of my favorite places. I hope this helps.

Hi Everyone,
Really excited to read all the posts. Im 5th generation from Isabella Dodd. My mother was Doreen Schweizer she has just passed away and Im now on a mission to find out everything I can about our family(North / Jasper / Dodd family) My husband and I travelled out to Come By Chance in 2020 trying to find information / gravesites but with the limited info I had we drew a blank. Id be very interested in any photos / map details / family info on Isabella and her final resting place. We are planning another trip out that way later this year and hope to visit locations where our family might have lived or were burried. Any help would be great. We are also looking into any indigenous connection as my Grandmother Marie Olive Schweizer (nee North) hinted that there may be some history there but she never elaborated. My Name is Tracy McLeod
