hopefully hoping to find info on Charles Allan born Scotland 1910 died 1968 in north Carolina, what I would like to find out is when did he marry Lillian Ahrens who was born in 1921 in America and also when was there son born also named Charles or chay

as I saidin my last post I am looking for the marriage date of Charles and Lillian and what children did they have

It is unlikely you will find a marriage date for the time frame you require. The informant is named on her death certificate.  Hopefully the son and any other children are still living.  Have you tried to locate obituaries for Charles and Lilie/Lillian which might give you details of children. ?

- Lillian Ahrens Allen - Burial in Pennsylvania but she died in Greensboro NC.

thanks for your help Sandra, I think that they must have married around 1940 onwards as he was on the 1940 census with his father and mother who I still cant find deaths for them being john allan and Margaret munro

The Chas F maybe their son.

In Charles's obit  in 1968 it mentions "son, Charles F Allan of the home". It also mentions a brother William Allan of Phil-...[Philadelphia, PA]?

Strange the death records, obits and  funeral notices for Charles all spell last name "Allan". All the same records for Lillian spell the last name "Allen"

I noticed that about the name allen, I know that the family called the son chay, but I still cant find a birth for that name so I presumed his real name would have been Charles like his father
