Hello,
My wife is a Dodd descendant and we visited Isabella's grave, it is located in an out of the way location well away from Wee Waa its actually on a side road between Walgett and Pilliga (The Come-By-Chance Road) turning left at Goangra Road if traveling from Walgett. You very shortly cross a low level bridge with an old ruin of a wooden bridge to the left. Pass the bridge by about 1/2 a mile and you will see the edge of a lone grave up on high ground with a dilapidated old wooden post and rail fence around it.
Mrs Isabella Dodd erected by her loving daughter Mrs Henry Keyes.
We were there yesterday 07-03-2016 and took photographs.
For family members interested you can contact us and we will send you images
Not sure as how to insert an image at this stage but will have a go at a later date.

Big Welcome to RootsChat.

I am not a family member, but I am absolutely sure that Noy1818 will be 'over the moon'.   RChat has many features, including a Private Message service, which will allow you to share email addresses with each other in a private way.   You need to have made THREE posts, so just two more replies on this thread will get that sorted.

You can say "Hi" on each one or you can provide more info for Noy, but either way, two more posts gets you to that PM service.

Come-by-chance road ..... I think I remember it, but back last century ! Dog's Hind Leg with some corrugations...

Cheers,  JM

Welcome to Rootschat Denise! Couldn't believe my eyes this morning when I read the posts.  I am the 5th great granddaughter of Isabella Dodd! We went up to NSW September last year (we are located in Vic) and we couldn't get around to all of the cemeteries and Isabella's grave was one we had to skip. Would love to get in contact and we can exchange information and compare bits and pieces. I will private message you but like JM pointed out you need to have made THREE posts to private message, so just two more replies on this thread will get that sorted!

Great to hear from one of the cousins! :D

I'll have to do some searching and see what information I have if any. I also sent you a personal message so we can get in contact outside of RootsChat.
