Makeover of Ferguson or Wilkinson Uncle date & identification of uniform

Could I ask for help with this young man in uniform. I believe he may be one of my mothers many uncles. An identity of the uniform and his approximate  year of birth would help put a name to him. The photos are in very good condition . I have posted the backs of the photographs as there is a date but year is not very clear.A makeover would be lovely too.

Royal Marines, I think the date on the back is 1936. possibly a bandsman.
