Forgot to say Welcome Debs C  :)

so my reply 1 for the 1885 birth/1950 death entry for James is the one you are looking for

great that STG has added the middle name for his death

As I couldn't find a marriage entry for James & Florence I was going to ask you whether she
was previously married but you say she married 'again'. I'd wondered if it was before James  :-\

Did Florence have a brother named Leonard?

The reason I'm asking he was in the Army and on his Medical Record Sheet there was a Florence May Hurrell who witnessed his 1912 marriage along with Sidney FULCHER

Free BMD has a 1915  marriage entry Norwich
Sidney FULCHER to Florence M Hurrell

That's even more interesting info. I don't know if she was married before but must seem legit if all is going that way

Thank you so much for all of this :)

Leonard’s next of Kin on his record
Brother (Elder)? Arthur Hurrell 214 Heigham St Norwich
 “      (Younger) ? Alec   ""                    ""

there’s this 1901 census entry not sure if it relates to your Florence May Hurrell though

Chittock Court, 21, Rising Sun Lane, Norwich, Norfolk, England
John William  Brown                     41   1860   Bricklayer Labourer   Norwich, Norfolk,
Ellen   Brown   Wife                49   1852   Charwoman   Norwich, Norfolk, England
Alexandra    Hurrell   Son      17   1884   Carter Timber Trade   Norwich, Norfolk,
Edith Mary   Hurrell   Daughter   15   1886   Packer Starch   Norwich,
Florence   Hurrell   Daughter      13   1888   -   Norwich, Norfolk, England

EDITED as this doesn't appear to be the correct Hurrell family

Thank you ladyhawk. I've got that Florence was born in 1887. But that could be correct. Have spoken to my dad and he says that james cullum did die before he was born so my mistake sorry.

looking for any info on James Lewis Cullum.
The only info I have is that he was married to Florence May Hurrell and had a child
R K Cullum who was born 1927.
They are from the Forhoe District in Norfolk.
Have spoken to my dad and he says that james cullum did die before he was born so my mistake sorry.

I've got that Florence was born in 1887
Might this be his birth & death entry?

Births (FreeBMD)
Mar 1885 Forehoe 4b 195
Cullum James Louis

Deaths
Dec 1950 Norwich Outer 4b 656
CULLUM  James L age 65 (1885)

Births
Dec 1887 Norwich vol 4b page 169
Hurrell Florence May
Edited as not the correct person

So as far as your aware the above info. is correct

Forgot to add that there are two birth entries in Norwich
1916 (also a death in the same 1916 qtr.)  and a birth 1926

Surname Fulcher mmn Hurrell  See FreeBMD for full names http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

There's also a death of a Sidney Fulcher age 52 in Wayland  Jun 1943

If that is their child

Fulcher (mmn Hurrell) birth 1926 is in Oct/Nov/Dec qtr.  :-\

and your

Cullum (mmn Hurrell) birth 1927  is in Jan/Feb/ Mar qtr :-\

Do you have the 1927 b/c confirming mothers full name? If so, who registered the birth?

To confirm who the parents are of the 1926 birth you would need to purchase the b/c.

I'm wondering if the Florence who married Sidney is a different person although
I'm not seeing two Florence May Hurrell's born c1887 Norwich

Do you have any other details for your Florence May Hurrell
ie  when she died , where she was born, her parents names, year she married ?

ADDED for info.
unfortunately can't see any details for his marriage on his Army Record  :(

Sidney Fulcher age 26 married occ Canteen Manager,
address Market Café, Market Place Norwich
Service number   A/257472 Regiment   Army Service Corps
Unit / Battalion   Expedetionary Force Canteen, NACB
Event year   1917

Sidney Fulcher
Soldier Number: A-257472, Rank: Acting Corporal, Corps: Army Service Corps Archive reference   WO372/7

Sidney appears to be the son of James (Café Manager) & Sarah Fulcher
living 52, Connaught Road, Heigham, Norwich, Norfolk, England in 1901

great that STG has added the middle name for his death

Oh dear, it appears I've invented the middle name.  The record just shows James L Cullum.

Have just looked through some old newspaper clippings and have found that Florence is a Ethel.
Don't know where Florence came from must of been somewhere because things are replaying to the son born in 1927 etc

So so sorry for the confusion
