I am enjoying looking at the photo's and I have printed a couple of them off and they came out ok.  Only have a black and white printer but that is ok with me.

Cheers

Yup, if you press F11 when viewing the image (full size browser). Zoom the image to the size you need, and then take a screen shot. Normally the print screen button.

Paste it into your graphics program. You now have the image.

Cheers.

OK, I've F11'd - just to see what happened - and now I'm stuck there.  How do I get out of full size browser please.

Oh that it would be so simple. Tried that - nothing happens :( :(

Edited to say : Now that the laptop has had a good night's sleep, it seems to have righted itself.  Phew, what a relief!  :)

Glad to hear it. I have been working with computers for years, and they seem to have a mind of their own.

They're from the Francis Frith Collection.  Don't know if it's just me being thick (not unknown  ;D), but I only seem to be able to save to my Shoebox or attach to my tree (which I don't have on Ancestry), rather than download.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I don't think you can download them, i saved one to my tree because there was a photo on there that showed where someone on my tree lived. I know that you can take a screen shot of the page but i'm unsure if you can do this and get the pages index and so on off
